Wintertime skincare has always been a mystery to me and my skin. Every winter, especially here in Denver, my skin gets so dry and it always seemed like not much could help it. With my skin not loving the cold, my makeup would never apply evenly. Why can’t our summer time glows hang around all year? (This is the time of year I get jealous of those of you in those warm, sunny climates!) Once I started using SeneGence® for my wintertime skincare, my skin hasn’t hated this cold, dry weather (as much). If you are new to our skincare, go read this post to get the starter set deets. So, here’s my collection of products, from weekly to daily use.
One of our top selling products for wintertime skincare! This is a scrub made from the volcanic ash on the Vanuatu Island. It also contains our nangai oil (I’ll get to this heavy hitter in a moment) so it brings in some moisture as it scrubs away dead, dry skin. Your face will be baby butt smooth after one use. I prefer to use this in the shower so that I can easily use the scrub on my neck or my hips if they are dry too.The
Detoxifying & Moisturizing Mask.
A creamy, mineral based mask that helps to soothe and reduce redness. Just apply and let it sit for 15 minutes. This stuff is great to use when you are starting to break out more often (hello that time of the month). It helps draw out some of the impurities in your skin. I had 2 coworkers the next day after using this comment how glowing my skin looked.
2-3 sprays of this day and night. It adds a ton of moisture without a greasy feeling. With it’s molecules being small, this is always applied first to your skin. To keep that hydration locked in, be sure that you use a moisturizer afterwards!
Wintertime essential. It is full of triglycerides to help your skin retain it’s moisture and keep it glowing. 1-2 drops is all you need, and I apply it to the driest areas of my face. Tip: Add a drop to your lips too!
After all the other skincare, don’t forget about your lips. This balm is a necessity because it’s wintertime. Make sure to use it daily, and especially before bed to let your lips heal while you sleep.
That’s the skincare essentials I can’t live without in the winter. Jump over to my website here to grab all 5 of them today!
